Keller High School Homecoming Parade

I took Ella and Ben to watch the Keller High School Homecoming Parade.  We have done this every year for the last 4 or 5 years.  We have a great spot right behind First Baptist Keller.  It is at the very beginning of the parade and the high schoolers are very generous with their candy.  Ella comes home very year with a giant bag of candy and we save it and use it for our Halloween candy.  It's great.

This was Ben's first experience with a parade and I thought the fire truck sirens or band would bother him but he was loving it.  My sweet friend Julie W. held him the entire time and he loved watching all of the floats go by.

Sadly our elementary school did not have a float in the parade nor was hardly anyone walking.  We were the only elementary feeder school to not have a float so Julie B. and I decided that next year David and Jason need to create our Hidden Lakes float.  Well, we will see how that pans out.  To be continued........
One thing for sure, next year we will at least walk in the parade before the girls graduate on to Intermediate school.
