Elizabeth hanging out in the hotel room.
Mommy and Elizabeth in Marblehead, MASS. It was one of the most beautiful places I ever seen.
Quiniquit, Maine.
Amy and daddy on the streets of Boston.
Elizabeth on her first plane ride. She slept the entire flight there and back. In September we took Elizabeth to Boston to meet with the Brain Research team at Harvard University. While we were there we also met with a geneticist from Children's Hospital of Boston. While we didn't learn anything new, we are currently testing Elizabeth for three to four rare diseases/sydromes. We made an apointment with our local geneticist in Ft. Worth and her feeling is that it would be highly unlikely for Elizabeth to have any of these disorders. We took her to get her blood taken and after 5 sticks, they were still not able to draw blood. We will have to take her back next week to run an IV and hopefully draw blood through the IV. Getting blood from Elizabeth has never been easy and it is painful to watch as they move the needle all around to try and find a vein. Hopefully next week we can get blood taken and the results on these tests should be back within a few weeks. Thanks to my wonderful mom and dad we were able to enjoy Boston while we were there and make a mini vacation out of it.
